Outbreak: Epidemic is a co-op survival horror game developed by Dead Drop Studios. The game is set in the midst of a nationwide epidemic where players must survive the undead apocalypse with up to three friends. The game features the classic tough-as-nails survival horror gameplay powered by the next-generation Outbreak engine. The game can be played in Campaign, Onslaught, and Experiments modes with limited restrictions on progression and other systems in the free-to-play version. The game also offers discounted premium content during the Early Access phase. The game features dedicated low-latency servers ensuring no connection issues and customizable gamepad, mouse and keyboard controls.

The game has a claustrophobic over-the-shoulder gameplay which brings the nightmare alive.
